President of WHOA Available For Interviews on Cyberstalking
February 21, 2000

With online harassment and cyberstalking becoming an ever-growing problem, victims need to find a voice and support. As President of WHOA (Women Halting Online Abuse at http://www.haltabuse.org), Jayne Hitchcock deals with cases like this more and more each day.

As a result of also being a cyberstalking victim, Hitchcock has helped pass related laws in three states (Maryland, NH and California) and got a Federal Cyberstalking Law passed by the House of Representatives (it is now at the Senate level). She speaks frequently about Cyberstalking and is well-known as a Cyberstalking expert throughout the world.

Hitchcock and other victims of cyberstalking at WHOA are available for interviews for shows/articles about online harassment and cyberstalking.

WHOA promotes on-line safety and offers victims educational resources. Its mission is to educate the Internet community about online harassment, empower victims of harassment and formulate voluntary policies that systems' administrators can adopt in order to create harassment-free environments.

Please contact Hitchcock at whoa@haltabuse.org for further information.
