President Jayne Hitchcock

I'm sorry I didn't get the newsletter out earlier, but I've been busy shoveling (again).

If you're in/near Alexandria, Virginia, I'll be signing my book Net Crimes & Misdemeanors at BooksAMillion on King Street in Old-Town from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12th. Everyone who buys a book at the signing gets a nifty Buzball that lights up when it bounces (it has the book title and URL imprinted on it). Believe me, these are fun to bounce with the lights off and pets or significant others trying to catch it, LOL.

I'll be in Alexandria doing some work for the IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police) on cybercrimes.

Jayne

I couldn't make this up if I tried. . .and Californians wonder why the rest of the world think they're from another planet.

American roadworkers misspelled the word BUMP as BMUP on a road in California.
They painted the 4ft letters on a street in Richmond to warn motorists about a new series of sleeping policemen.
Local residents said they were astonished at the obvious error.
According to The Sun, the painters also put up a sign that read SLOW MEN WORKING.
